http://www.dogbehavioronline.com/members/173.cfm to learn to walk your dog off leash. Walking your dogs off leash can be safe and easy if you follow the correct techniques to properly walk your puppy.
God you people are retarted. Its not cruel its basic training. Shock collars do not hurt dogs unless the dog is too small. It gives a tingling sensation that doesnt hurt a bit. If you use treats, eventually the dog will always expect them no matter what and will be spoiled and defiant if they do not recieve them. Think about these things. This is a good video.
I have a blue heeler ( best breed ever) when she was a puppy I never put her on a leash but never let her wander to far off and always gave her lots of attention when she walked beside me
i used to be scared to walk my dog without i kinda still am but the key to a dog is ur energy it feeds off i take him to the park and i trust him but when it comes to crowded places just learn to feed off good energy to them
@xoxostephanie101 Shocks are not 'shocks'. Shock collars usually either use tiny tickles (or big compared to the level) or vibrations. They don't hurt the dog. Although a sensitive dog like mine may be scared of it but it doesn't hurt,
Wow, all these posts are ridiculously ignorant. Shock collars DO NOT HURT them. Didn't you hear him say "tiny tickle". Why don't you put a shock collar on your hand and feel it, then you will see how subtle they are. It is intended to help direct their attention on you, not to electronically beat them into submission, idiots.
