BMW has created a supersports touring bike that adds an extra level of sex appeal to big, fast touring bikes with the K1600GT.

MCN was at the launch in South Africa to put it through its paces.

Haven't ridden this bike yet but with 175Nm I would wonder how much torque he wants and what bike delivers this

That said I've just read that the torque is limited/controlled below 4,000 RPM

I just orded the GT 1600, I now have a fjr 1300 as well as a gl goldwing 1100, I also have a HD FLH 1450 tour bike....BUT ! This GT 1600 is so much more advanced in power and smoth ride. I did not care for the GTL riding stance, but the GT is more my style.  Exllent job BMW
