Day 2 BFI LFF - Like Crazy - 50/50 - Hard Labour - Terrferma

Premiere Scene is delighted to be back on the red carpet for day two of the 55th BFI London Film Festival.

Funny-man Seth Rogen brought his film 50/50 to London. The story focuses on Rogen's long-time friend Will Reiser and Reiser's own personal battle with cancer. Reiser wrote the script and produced the film too. The film also stars Anna Kendrick and Joeseph Gordon Levit.

A host of international films are also represented including Sundance smash Like Crazy. Director Drake Doremus was on hand to discuss the merits of shooting in London; while Sundance best actress winner, Felicity Jones spoke to us about working alongside the films male lead, Anthon Yelchin.

Brazilian Horror movie, Hard Labour, was represented by director Marco Dutra, who discussed working with his co-director Juliana Rojas. The film's star, Helena Albergaria, was delighted to return to London for the premiere having studied here previously.

We also spoke with actresses Donatella Finocchiaro and Martina Codecasa who star in Italian social/political drama, Terraferma.

Last up is Icelandic drama Volcano, directed by Runar Runnarson. Runnarson secured interest via his potent short Two Birds. and spoke of the challenge he found shooting a feature film in comparison with filming a short subject.
