On request Pinhead again. To make this cover I went for a recording studio-like approach. Therefore I needed 2 separate tracks: one guitar track plus the original song. To get the guitar track I mic'd my amp, using the camcorder both as a microphone and as a recording device. Whils recording the guitar I played the original song over my head phones so there is no sound contamination. I saved the guitar file and opened it in Pinnacle Studio 12 to tweak the sound.
Next I imported the original song as an MP3 in Pinnacle and used the EQ function to remove as much of Johnny's guitar as possible. Now it was only a matter of syncing and balancing both tracks. When this was done I saved the new soundtrack.
Next I shot the video, saved it and sync'd it with the new soundtrack.
That's it!
PS: the reason that it's in black & white is only because the white balance of my camcorder was way off;)

I have a tiny terror but don't have a mosrite. I use a standard telecaster, great for playing songs like Durango'95 and She's The one! Great vid!
