ur playing the wrong rpg games lol, and u mistake turn-based gameplay, like ff, w/ the simple boring target-based gameplay of wow, aion, lineage2, etc. wat u should do is look into games like c9, tera, and mabinogi heroes, they are all non-target based gameplay, youtube search them for more info.

@ourscienceisasham In actuality, your post was the definition of a troll. My response was an invitation to give an example of one single point he made that was so bad it was worthy of being called retarded. Turn-based combat is boring. Coming up with ideas to make it more interactive and therefore more skill-intensive and therefore more engaging and fun IS in fact a good idea. The principles of customization, dynamic play-styles, and truly competitive PVP are all good ideas.

i agree thats why most of the time i cant stick on one rpg. but now its 2010 and we got games like starwars: the old republic, and all these other ones that are trying to not have it like that but ehh. there is thought (Mount & Blade) a swinging game and is a rpg kind of.
