AmZone - France Dancehall Queen

As a French West Indian dancer (mother from Guadeloupe and father from Martinique), AmZone was born in Paris suburb. She dances since she was 8 years old and starts by Traditional Caribbean dances, and discovered Dancehall around 14.

In the every day life she is Dancer, Dance teacher, Choregrapher and Model, she is one of the most active dancehall actor in Paris, and works with the French sounds systems to make the dancehall up in the capital.

In French Âme Zone means Soul of the Zone or "Soul Flying but she chose that name to make reference of the amazone, Zone because she is from the suburb and Soul for the spirituality, and also to symbolise the hard work it is for a women to make her place in the mens world that is Dancehall.

She is the Official France DHQ in 2k6, 2k7 and 2k8 and never failed, but the most important for her right now is to win THE tittle in the mother land of Dancehall.

AmZone was the first Dancehall Queen of Europe of the International Dancehall Queen contest in Montego Bay (Jamaica) in 2007 and 2008.
