[2] I don't know anything of value about the scientific evaluation of H1N1, but it wasn't anything special on my side and it ended up killing 1/1000 infected here in my country, mainly very young and very old people.. just like the normal influenza :ß
The reaction from the government was pretty ridiculous, ordering millions and millions of vaccines, filling the big pharma pockets with our money ...

I have my VERY OWN VIEWS on the matter.
I was among those in my country who got diagnosed with an H1N1 in the middle of 2009 by quick testing and I was scared, because I'm an asthmatic person as well. Funnily enough, the course of the disease was pretty undramatic, feeling like a "normal" flu, which I had a long time ago.
I had a vapor spray to ease some symptoms but that was the only thing I received and besides some slight fever and weakness during a 1,5 week period, that was that.

@Nidair Even with that considered, that still doesn't address the issue of how many people did/didn't take it. We know from the New England Journal of Medicine that at least 70,000,000 didn't take it, so out of 300,000,000 in the US, that leaves 230,000,000 individuals who may/may not have taken the vaccine. I want to know the ratio of the people who took the vaccine to the people who didn't take the vaccine, and how many of those contracted the virus. That's how you measure effectiveness.

@TheManiacalSatanist6 Swine flu got to the 4th phase (spreading across people) because authorities acted too late. They underestimated the time needed to design a reliable vaccine against it. The first vaccines proved not to be reliable, which caused the media to believe the later antidotes might also be ineffective.

According to the New England Journal of Medicine, 70,000,000 Swine Flu vaccines were wasted because of antivaccinationist propaganda instilling fear into people. I have to wonder what is the ratio of people who actually took the vaccine to the people who didn't, and how many people from each of these groups contracted and/or died from H1N1, because frankly, Swine Flu was hardly worthy of the label, "PANDEMIC."

It's a good thing the US government gave millions to Don Rumsfelds medical company to protect us from an overhyped virus on TV. Why trust a corrupt government.

lmao
Dude, swineflu has vanished off the face of the planet.
it killed like 2 people and everyone was like "OMGGG WTFFFFF AAAHAHAHAHA??!!11!1?!!"
36000 people a year die of regular flu, What about the ukrane virus that's killed like a million people,... No media coverage whatso ever.
Not to mention the injection was pure poison. its just bullshit

What's the big deal? It's just another version of the 'flu. Most people recover from it just fine. People keep throwing around the word "epidemic" or "pandemic," but I just don't see it. I compare it to the number of deaths caused by the Black Plague in medieval times, and there's just no comparison at all. When entire villages start dropping dead from it, I'll worry.
U moron, vaccines have irradiated many diseases from our population. Do you know that vaccines are the reason that nobody in your family has contracted polio? Your fear of "chemicals" is ridiculous.

Unfortunately when someone intelligent and informed tries to give people the facts about something that is a very real happening in the world, you'll get plenty of idiots responding.
I noticed that the number of cases in some countries doubled over the last few days, and at this rate you'll likely see more deaths. Just do as the man recommends ~ or don't.
It's entirely likely a "Swine Flu Party" will come to your house if you remain ignorant. Some of us appreciate your info Thunderf00t
