Patti sounds good cause she is rested. I've noticed over the later years that when she rest her voice is restores it's self and her tone get richer. I like this voice.

WOW, I can't not believe how good she still sounds after 53 years of singing. 53 years from now we probably won't even know a Justin Bieber or a Lady Gaga, I have hope for Beyonce, but I doubt it. This is what you call timeless. Amazing!

Well said kmxx2003 I just saw her perform live for the first time on July 16 2011...she is amazing...voice and all...that 260.00 I spent to see her was worth it.

67 years young! still sangin still hitting noteS...please note that it is hard for a lot of singer to carry their voice with them into their older years. PATTI HAS HER VOICE...BUT I MISS SEEING HER ROLLING ON THE FLOOR ....YET I AM INSPIRED TO SEE HER PERFORM AND REALLY GIVE IT TO EM'. I MET HER TWICE...SANG WITH HER ONCE AND SAW HER PERFORM HELLA TIMES....SAY WHAT YOU SAY; BUT AIN'T NOBODY LIKE MRS. PATTIE LABELLE AKA MS. PATRICIA LOUISE HOLTE-EDWARDS.OUR FRIEND....SO TREAT HER LIKE ONE

@moroney1 I'd have disagree with this also. She was giving really solid performances into 2008. Then after tht things got a little patchy lol. But she seems to really be kicking butt lately!

@noreexic i'd have to disagree with you on one thing...the key is still the same..it's always been in C major..a few times it was in Db but almost almost always C major =)
