Part 1: Thunder over Louisville 2008 Opening

On April 12th 2008 the largest annual firework show in North America once again erupted on the downtown riverfront. Thunder over Louisville was "Out of This World" featuring music from space, as well as music from all over the world. The opening of the show was bigger than most firework display's grand finales, and during Thunder's Grand Finale they played a some of the first few songs to show just how massive the finale is. This is Fox 41's coverage of the firework show split into 4 parts, enjoy and remember, The 20th Anniversary for Thunder over Louisville is April 18, 2009.

Note: The audio track was adjusted in this video to actually start when it was supposed to, so you can see how good the syncing was this year. All of the video captures I've seen from the Fox broadcast were taken from the TV screen. This is coverted straight from the broadcast to give you a much better Youtube Video.

I have been going every year since I was 15 and watching this only reminds me of the "Thunder" that surrounds you there watching it live. Shit is LOAD!!! Love it. Good place to take a girl that's for sure.

Thunder over louisville is one of the main things that makes me proud to be from KY and I link videos like these to my friends all the time to show how badass my state is.
