Every May, bluebells creep into Wivenhoe Woods and cover the ground. They are like small, shy dithering blue eyes, staring at their quiet admirers. Drinking an eyeful of blue bell in this cool surrounding is a bliss.

  • Really nice this lovely place.

    Thanks for sharing

  • I have been missing a delightful secret of the great nature here until seeing the video clip. It must be a overwhelming scene to be into it when the bluebells transform the green woods. Wivenhoe is always a place full of delights. The subtlety of the forms and colours of the village buildings posting a beautiful background for the idling small fishing boats along the waterfront is simply part of it. Its stories and history here and there give us a bundle of good reasons to visit at times.

  • A really enchanting place! Delightful photos and relaxing music.
