can someone help me out. i have mcafee total protection, but my laptop keep on telling me my laptop has virus and trojan and some kind of other stuff. i used the full scan on the mcafee, but mcafee was unable to find anything wrong, but the warning sign keep on showing that my laptop is infected. now it is also showing that someone is trying to hack the laptop for my microsoft office word 2007 key code. please help me out on what to do............................

hey when i run my scan it says cookies: 0 then it says processes: 64 what is a process?

Hey, a red message apeared and I have tried everything, going to the firewall and putting real time scanning on, but the message doesn't go away... What should I do?...I went to the fire wall, but when I click on "turn on now" (McAfee), it doesn't do a thing it just stays like if I hadn't clicked it...

@infojunkie87 Pay for it on the website. Good anti-virus protection is worth the money. Trust me. I went the free route and put free anti-virus software on my brother's laptop and the thing got destroyed by a virus. Absolutely totaled. I was using the free version of AVG and Spybot.

@testerclient101 Do you only have one month to download it to other computers? If so,you are really messed over if you get a new computer after the month is up. That is,unless you bought the backup cd. Is that correct?

It is good protection but I am having trouble configuring the online storage because my log in is not being recognized and since I installed it my computer has a harder time surfing the internet. The thing obviously sucks up a lot of computer resources. If you are going to use this product I recommend you have more than 256 mb of RAM and that you have a fast internet connection. Take care.
