@dano555666 does someone have to make this comment everytime they find good music on youtube? shut up and enjoy the music.

@dano555666 If you think style is unsubstantive try substance. This sounds like a lot of other music in many dimensions, you're either infatuated with it (which is reasonable, I am too, but it's not sufficient reason to get so down on everything else) or you're unaware of modern music with integrity. Either is a sad state of sentiment, and neither speaks of a perspicuous position.
Well I imagine you were waiting a long time for this band's epiphany, at least you've got that appreciation.

I just read a rather modest review for "Violet Cries" and without any expectations gave it all a listen... I must say, this is a nice surprise. Shoegazey distant reverb-ish sounds always work. This is chilling music to travel with and look into the distance through the train window (without jumping off the very train). Dream quality pop at its finest. Let's hope they'll survive all the expectations and pressure later on. Until then, this is beautiful.

Music is dead, and E&TW is gonna play at the funeral party.

Amazing weird! :)

cocteau's influence is eminent but they do it proper and in times when it takes balls to play that shit plus damn we miss cocteau ;)

@dano555666 "ripping off what mogwai did 10 years ago" vs "another Cocteau, or MBV" maybe my brain is shit right now - but I'm not seeing much of a difference. Influence is influence, Why kick the teeth in of those you don't like? damn.

yes i also think there's similarity to warpaint! =) they're amazing.
Finally, a new band that isn't making shit music.
I'm personally sick to death of all the same same shit getting pumped out. Everyone's trying to sound like the same "new" shit. It's either auto tuned this side of cher, or folk pop indy douche fucked into this side of ripping off what mogwai did 10 years ago.
But this, this is music made to be heard, not sold. I was beginning to think we weren't going to see another Cocteau, or MBV.
