  • The Mic input on the Zi8 is a stereo Mini Jack. A Mini-Jack Splitter Belkin Model: Model: F8V234 will usually do the trick allowing each channel input to be accessed individually. Two non Phantom Powered Mics can be plugged into the the one mini jack input of the camera with this cable.

    Hope this helps.

  • ( . Y . ) @6:50 Mmmm......

  • One of the best videos about microphone types ever!!!

    well done!

  • I noticed you updated your video. Nice, hated the songs you used on your older videos.

    Oh and thanks.

  • @eoslightingllc - Sorry - non phantom powered mics? Does this mean I need two Lav mics now instead of one to get stereo or two channel audio on my video recordings?

    Thanks

    Alan

  • Hi there, I have a Kodak Zi8 camera with a Lavalier mic Audio Technica ATR3350, which I use for shooting at home, but while the camera has two channels, when I use the Lav mic it only records on one channel?

I would appreciate it if you could provide me with some info on what I can do to get two channel recording on my videos?

    Many thanks

    Alan
