There's nothing sweeter than sitting down in front of a big TV set and watch The Lawrence Welk Show on a saturday night on ABC-TV. In my home Chicago it was seen on WBKB-tv Ch 7 in 1964. 4 years later they changed the station name to WLS-Tv now known as ABC 7.

I've alway thought this closing number was more creative than the later 'Adios, Au Revoir, Auf Wiedersehen" that came in the 70's. I like the later closing too, but you can't beat this take on "Goodnight Ladies"
