The McCains and the Rubios are going to continue to make fools of us all by telling us one thing and continuing to screw us behind closed doors to maintain the little bit of power they have. American exceptionalism is a reality. We're a young nation but we've surpassed many older nations in medicine, finances, freedoms, and many other areas. Our public government-run school system has not kept up with that of many other nations. It used to be far better. We are letting our future down, no doubt. However, we have seen amazing exceptionalism and if you don't think so it could be that you're just not that exceptional.
