Second were i we want to know everything you did and how the roof was formed and what you used, your home is such an insperation to us in so many ways the love the heart the will to do this and share it Thank You so much.   • wonder how it inside a house like this at -20 degrees and 1 meter of snow outside?

    can it hold 1 meter of snow on the roof?

  • @azmodanrom Answer to the first question is warm and cosy, straw bales are very good insulators, and the second: it's a reciprocal roof which is very strong as long as the roundwood timbers are suitably thick.

  • They are hero's of mine.. thank you for putting together a better view of the house and adding the captions. I have since designed fence/livestock/dry wood storage structures to replace conventional ones. The wheels never stop turning once you have seen this kind of success. There are many ways to use this idea!!
