In 1955 Gordon Scott appeared on the popular game show, "You Bet Your Life", to promote the fact that he was the new movie Tarzan. Also included in this clip is the trailer for Scott's first Tarzan film, "Tarzan's Hidden Jungle." This segment is an excerpt from the documentary, "The Many Faces of Tarzan" (1996).

Gordon Scott met Vera Miles on the set of "Tarzan's Hidden Jungle" and were married for a time. He replaced Lex Barker who had been Tarzan since 1949. The Tarzan comic books now would feature Gordon Scott on the front cover. Scott would remain Tarzan until Denny Miller did a one shot in 1959, utilizing footage from the original Tarzan film with Weismuller.
