  • I STILL don't understand how Emile wasn't even nominated for Oscar or anything like Golden Globe... I think the work he made was extraordinary! I consider his performence like one of the best of the decade!

It's so unfair not seeing Emile being recognized for his amazing work in Into the Wild! And so Sean Penn, the soundtrack, the photography, the writing adapted screenplay...

But that's ok! Emile will have the opportunity to surprise us countless times! He's definitely a great actor!

  • Man, I just watched the movie and yes, it is "AMAZING!!!" I've just been thinking about it and doing research on Christopher McCandless for the last hour and a half, and I found that he lived in Fairfax, VA and graduated from W.T. Woodson Highschool in 1986... I live in Fairfax, and this is the highschool I currently attend! Also, he died exactly one day AFTER my birthday, exactly one year before I was born. His last words written in his journal are dated EXACTLY one year before I was born.

  • Is it just me or is Emile Hirsch really hot???

  • Read the book the movie is great but oh my god the book is amazing

  • @monk202 Cool story bro

  • He needs to lay off the weed.

  • @urbanrootz Exactly what i was thinking

  • Truth is the s.o.s note gets left out alot in the re-telling of Chris' story..I think that somehow if they admit that he felt in over his head at any point then it ruins the romanticism of the story..even so I still find his life and ideals very compelling an inspirational R.I.P Chris McCandless aka Alex Supertramp.

  • its a movie that you need to read the book first

  • @AvadaKedavra316 I think he has got some joint beforet the interview :-)
