I met Eddie in Chicago in 1977 with his dad, Eddie was 16 yrs old and already a world class guitar picker! Have been good friends with Billy Joe (and Eddie) all these yrs. Eddies passing still haunts me! Jim

Frankly this is a little wierd... but I got over it. A fine tribute to my favorite and most influential guitar influence ever, I pick up my Strat every day and play Eddy licks... The best ever. JH

i went to see billy joe and eddy many times here in georgia ... both of them are the most personable and down to earth kind souls one could meet. i even recorded a few performances with a cassette recorder AT EDDY's feet !! amazingly talented and kind !!

When eddy was 16, he still had the same Fender strat. that he was playing at the time of his death at 38! His dad has it in Willie Nelsons vault now. Thanks Pepi, Take care buddy.
