Btw, I was 17 going on 18, and in Year 10 and in High School in NSW, when this song was orginally released, and still sounds as awesome now, as it did then! Top stuff!!

Philip98183. This song has, and, 24 years later still has, a lot of meaning for me,too, particularly with our obligation to our fellow human being, esp the Third World, how we care for our fragile planet Earth, and the importance of acting with non-violence towards one another, instead of denigrating one another. What a shame we don't have more songs with a social conscience such as this today.

Been hearing this song played out of people's cars in Melbourne a lot lately... Thanks for putting it up here!!! Legendary song. xx

this is one of the last songs I remember hearing on the old KFMH radio station out of Muscatine,Ia before they got bought out by their competition and turned into a top 40 country station. 99+, a great station to grow up to. I miss Capt. Steve, Dirty Judy, and the gang. My favorite dj was on that station, and I can't remember his name. long live the independent stations.

Should that be the other way around I mean Kings of Leon never existed in the 80's.

I'm starting to think us Americans are sometimes music snobs. This is the 2nd Australian band I've heard that is just totally great. (1st one being Cold Chisel). Man i'm sure glad I watched these videos. Why these guys didnt have success in america is beyond me. Thanks for posting!

Silly anecdote warning: When I was 16 I sneaked into a concert at Twin Towns where Noiseworks were playing.....I was so close to the stage that Jon Stevens' spittle landed on me while he was singing...I swore to never wash my cheek and that one day I would be Mrs Stevens...never married Jon but I did become Mrs Stevens! Weird huh!?
