Synopsis: An Evening In Paris -Deepa has no luck when it comes to love, the first heart break befalls her at the innocent age of eleven, followed by disappointments of the same kind at the age of sweet sixteen. and bitter twenty two respectively. She is obsessed with a dogma that Indian boys are only in love with her wealth. And this makes her leave India for Paris, the most romantic city in the world in quest of true love.In romantic Paris, she happens to come across Shyam, who poses himself as a Frenchman to Deepa, but by now Deepa regards every Frenchman as outright flirts and this keeps Shyam away from her for some time. Shekhar, the unscrupulous son of Deepa's Business Manager, has evil designs in his mind.The evil elements were not sitting idle. They kidnap Deepa and replace her by an imposter, who looks exactly alike and works for a night club joint.The concluding reels of "An Evening In Paris" will reveal the end of this intriguing plot.

"rajshri", you've made some errors on movie cast list - name is Rajindernath (late) and NOT Surendranath as you wrote; also Madan Puri (late elder brother of late Amrish Puri) appears in this movie together with Jago another veteran Bollywood villan. BTW, one country that I omitted from my previous list where movie was shot is Beirut, Lebanon where Shammi Kapoor sings the song - "Asman say Aya Farishta..." - was shot in Beirut - look at the flag on Helicopter - it's the national flag of Lebanon.

"rajshri", you got the year wrong - the film was made in 1968 and NOT 1958 - as you put it in your title. This movie was shot in several location - countries - Paris, France; Windsor, Ontario, Canada; Buffallo, NY, USA; Hamburg, Germany; Laussanne, Switzerland, and off course, Mumbai, India. Did they have that kind of money backing back then to finance the movie, or was it a Chotta Shakeel type backing - huh, something to ponder about, right?

Notice that both late actors David and Rajindernath are standing fixated at BOAC and QANTAS ticketing counter at Orly airport-These 2 airlines must have paid the movie producers for promoting their airline logos. BOAC-British Airlines Overseas Corporation was famous back in 1960s airline, but does not exist now as they got incorporated into larger British Airways; and Qantas-Australian airlines is still around even in todays times. Niagara Falls is on both Windsor, Ontario, Canada & Buffallo,NY.

Famous landmarks to watch out for in the scenes are: Moulin Rouge-in Pigalle, Paris; Cafe Reese-Hamburg;Eiffel Tower-Paris;Busch REINIGUNG(Laundry in Germen)-Hamburg;Arc de Triomph-Paris;Lacel-Paris;Aero­port de Paris-Orly Airport-Paris. The same 5 dancing girls appear throughout the scenes in Hamburg and Paris-did have the budget back then in 1968 when the movie was shot to transport these 5 girls + crew + actors between 2 cities? Then there are scenes of Niagara Falls on the Canadian/US sides.
