WARNING: Those with delicate constitutions may find themselves slightly offended by this film. It is recommended that all small children be removed from the room before proceeding. This was my student animation film from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. It was never fully completed for a number of reasons, one of which being that a vast majority of the original drawings were lost or destroyed. For three years, this unfinished project remained locked away in an external hard drive never to be shared. However, I have come to the conclusion that sharing this project (even if it is unfinished) is important. If I continue to hide it from the world, all of the hard work that went into its creation will have been in vain. So here it is. Brace yourself.
This is a really good visual of the original Brothers Grimm story. How Some Children Played At Slaughtering was one of my favorites by the Grimm bros. My teacher from when I was in Middle school would find this interesting. He loves the original fairy tales and such. I'm going to show this to him. Amazing artwork too.

Even if it's unfinished, there are a lot of feelings in it, and it litteraly overwhelm me... You did a good decision about sharing it, because it's just wonderful. The music, the drawings and the background create an atmosphere that feet perfectly with the original tale, and even add a melancolic thing to it.
Once more, bravo, it was merely 15 minutes of tears for me. (eeh, I'm so emotive...)
