Most of these comments are rather silly. How do you think a majority of music works, unless you're a huge band? The singer is the person everyone recognizes for the most part, be it indie, major labels or otherwise. The only time people recognize anyone else is if they stand out in a particular way. However if you're like me and you like music well enough, you'll take the time out to find out the others who put in all of the work as well, and find more of their stuff.

@heatherrrsw You need to listen to more music brother... Never bought a J Dilla album? Or Madlib or any other 'producer' created album?.... its always.. ALWAYS *producer* featuring *lyricist*... even though the entire track is a guy spitting over the producer's beats... Its standard practice.
