The Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. That's why when I rest on the Sabbath, as the commandment says, I feel totally peaceful and blessed. For me, Sabbath is the most special day of the week. It's a day that God gave to me so that I don't have to worry about work things or have stressful thoughts about what I need to be getting done around the house. All that stuff can wait for the other six days. Sabbath is for rest. Worship, however, should be done everyday!

Adventists do not rest on Saturday to reach salvation. We rested on Saturday because we are already saved in Christ Jesus. The Bible teaches that the Ten Commandments of God are eternal moral. The law and grace go hand in hand.
