@4everfrankenstein Exactly. His rhythm playing and fills were pure genius. There are so live recordings where you're just stunned at the variety and quality of fills that he gets while playing a really great rhythm. Man he had some big, strong hands. According to Jeff Beck in an 1985 Guitar World interview, and I heard Townsend mention it too," I think his first string was like a normal third. You had to have his hands to play them."

what an amazingly interesting effect his got going on that guitar. its like really so thick in the mid frequencies, combined with the wah and tremelo gives it this like really powerful almost "smokey" sound, fitting for the context! Great, amazing.... job here. Love this performance. The bass here is also particularly good/ thats what happens when you snag godly bass players haha!

Today marks another year since Jimi blasted off into the cosmos.. I often wonder what his thoughts were transforming from this physical realm into the realm of the unimaginable.. death is simply the process of leaving one realm to enter another. Fly on through the cosmos Jimi..

Awesome man... this line up was incredible. The way Mitchell and Cox gelled was incredible.. they were with Hendrix every step of the way. Who knows what kind of music they would have created given more time.... We can only speculate. I think Hendrix had so much more to offer with the phenominal talent he posessed. Damn!!
