@Bahia82 wow. What the hell does Beyonce have to do with this? I don't even care about her, but you're just a straight up hater bringing her into something that is completely irrelevant! are you aware that 2 decades separate these two women? Wow. Just wow.
and btw, Beyonce's vibrato is not forced. As someone who's been studying vocal technique for 15 years, I can say Beyonce has perfect controlled vibrato, and she has such technical control over it she can change its weight and speed at will.

whitney was the last great original soul singer she came inbetween real singing and pop singing. You had aretha and gladys tina and chaka khan and then whitney then came all the copy cats until maybe lauryn hill there hasnt really been a great singer and interpreter since. Beyonce and xtina are nice singers but they are ultimately popstars.
