The "Boozhoo" sounds like pidgin/creole "Bonjours" to me. I wonder whether that's the origin.

is cree and ojibwe laguage similar? or the same? i picked up a cree book and an ojibwe cd. my book says there is proto algonquin, and proto eastern algonquin. and then theres a bunch listed together under the 2 catagories. ojibwe, cree, fox, shawnee, etc. r in the same PA. so, r they the same?

I'm ojibway , and I don't know my language, but I was gonna take classes to learn... but people I talk to said classes they took wasn't the same, and the teachers weren't First Nation People.??????? but I'm glad I came across this, now I can practice, and hopefully learn and speak my language soon, and teach others... because the language we speak is all we got.
