Barbaro's Legacy

This video is meant to represent the racing legend Barbaro. His story is a sad one, seeing that he was a great racehorse with a lot of potential. He could've been great. But in his last race, he badly broke his right hind leg. Several treatments were tried, but the strain on the rest of his legs was too much to bear. I and several others had high hopes of his recovery, but Barbaro was in too much pain and was put down.

I have some videos of him in here, but as with all horse race videos, the quality isn't so good. My favorite clip is the one where Barbaro's jockey pats his neck at the end of the race.

The song is "Legacy" by Nichole Nordeman. I thought it was pretty good for Barbaro; after all, he was doing really good until the accident. It's awful that it had to happen to any horse, much worse, him.
