1:05. Elton John didn't need to command the crowd to cheer to get a reaction. And look how short that cheer was. Corey fucking ruined this song.

@MrFrankCalzone True, but Elton has also been around for decades and had more time to build a respected legacy. I think the reaction of the crowd wasn' t from a lack of support. This was how Corey chose to open his set and I think it threw the general audience off at first considering the venue. Over the course of the set things came to life and the crowd grew more frenzied with each passing song. Corey Taylor is well respected in the UK and his two bands are typically perennial headliners.

@therealfactor You are entitled to your own opinion, so here is mine. I don't think it is fair to say Corey is "a nameless" he is very talented and has done very well as a solo artist, collaborating artist, and lead singer of two great mainstream rock bands. Furthermore, I believe, as well as many others, that Corey has a great voice capable of producing a wide range of melodies. I think considering the audience and event, Corey was justified in his demeanor and mannerisms.

@matmcgeegfx It was great! sonisphere had me in such a mess by the time i was watching this i almost started crying when i heard him sing. I remember a whole lot of people walking for the door as soon as he started? dont know what they were expecting that could have topped this but anyway.....

plus these are peoplet whho listen to "heavvy" music hes playing to, they wouldnt recognize the song, if ANYTHING Corey was trying to educate some people on a another genre of music
