i woke up again later that night around... ehh maybe 1 AM.
"your up!" i heard Joe say and he touched my arm. i flinched as instinct came to me.
"dont worry.. i wont hurt you" he said softly.
"wh-wheres K-Kevin" i stuttered out.
he took a deep breath, "i dont know.. he hit you yesterday and me and Nick like killed him.. and he left the house and we haven't seen him sense"
i dont even know if i was thinking..
"i'm gonna go find him." i said.
"NO! he hurt you ! Pay... are you serious?" he said.
"YES! and i hit him first!!" i said seriously.
"well your better off waiting here then leaving and never finding him" he said.
with that said i went downstairs and opened the front door and sat on the top porch steps off to the side.
"hey. you look cold" i heard a warm voice say.
i turned around to see Nick holding a jacket and cocoa.
"oh. thanks" i cracked a smile.
"no problem." he handed me the cocoa. i turned back around and just stared out into darkness. i felt Nick's present.
"well.. if you need anything just call me" he said and turned around.
"wait." i said.
"yes?"
"will you stay here with me?" i asked.
"sure" he face lit up.
"thanks nick.." i said.
"no problem.." he said sitting next to me and staring into the darkness.
"so you just gonna wait for him to come home?" nick asked about 10 minutes later.
"pretty much...." i said sounding distant.
"cool beans" he said. i laughed.
"what?" he said not knowing what i was laughing at.
"nothing." i laughed and just contiuned to wait.
"its 6 AM... are you still gonna wait?" i heard Joe ask.
"yes" i said trying to keep my eyes open.
Nick had to go pee so i was waiting then i felt a pair of arms around me and carry me up to my room.
"Kevin?" i asked kinda happy and scared.
"i'm soo sorry Paola.." he said through tears.
"its okay" i said and kissed him passionately on the lips.
