We sang this at my grandmother's funeral. My Dad was on his feet and praising the Lord. He was a Christian and Missionary Alliance pastor for over 40 years. If he heard you singing this, he would say, "sing the song Linda."

Your dad sounds like a really great guy. This song is very special to me. I sang it for many years with my husband playing the piano. It was kind of my signature song and he made it so with his arranging. He passed away in June 2006 and I miss him so. Thanks for your sweet comment.
