That's because it's against our vocal nature to pronounce things backwards, try saying a few things backwards into a mic and play it back to yourself, it will still sound a bit weird even if you said all the letters in the correct order.

I listened intently to the original and she was pretty much spot on.

She's not "saying things backwards" in that sense. She's not taking the individual phonemes (speech sounds) in the word and pronouncing them back to front; she's just spelling the word backwards in her head and "reading out" that word. If she were doing the former, then for "Chevrolet" she'd say "yelorvesh" (because the sounds in the word are sh-e-v-r-o-l-eh-y). Instead, she thinks the word spelled backwards ("telorvehc") and pronounces it out loud as "tell-or-veck."

i just saw her on figure it out she said everything backwards instantly. they said green slime she automatically said emils neerg. she is saying the written word backwards. and TheCelestialTeacup she would say eht because she is saying the written word backwards

example- if she said the backwards, she wouldn't say eht, she's say eth

your not hearing anything because she is not say the sounds backwards. but instead reading the word with letters rearranged backwards.
