Testing H4n output into 5DMK2 input. You must use the Magic Lantern firmware to disable AGC otherwise the 5D will create tons of noise in quiet scenes. The numbers aren't perfect, but it shows that there is a quick and dirty solution to connecting the two together. For even better audio, use the WAV file from the H4n.

I've tried it
It's so glitchy, I keep thinking it had killed my camera
besides, it really didn't offer anything
My advice, just shoot, and learn to set up the scene properly

sweet glad to know of a soloution for the 5d cool video. On another note, what ws the tune playing in the background? I could get into whatever it was. Cheers, IC.
