Hot Hot Stuff --- BLUES Cranked all the way up to the extra HIGH ZONE !!!

Casual wear; was this on a cruise?

Kid v. Charlie - kind of like asking a pothead if he/she prefers sativa over indica. Either way you're still high, high, high.

I go back to the late 70's with Little Charlie & the Nightcats before Charlie & Rick even started recording. Charlie was/is a great guitarist (he still plays a bit, "gipsy jazz" these days, plus occasional "guest" appearances with Rick & the band) and so is Kid Anderson. And Rick is one of the great blues harp players ever - in my opinion, he ranks with not only the best of today but the best of all time.

i'll always love charlie batys playing. a real guitar master for sure.
but i think kid doesn't have to worry about filling anybodys shoes but his own. he has his own voice, and i agree the way he takes chances makes for some real on the edge of your seat exciting music.

Kid! some exciting playing!

Baty is a master. Kid, is still getting better...and he's a breath of fresh air compared to so many other guitar players. Kid takes chances. I like that.
-
Charley was more fluid.

The Nightcats are great. They've been my favorite band for many years. Charley Baty was great, but the Kid carries his weight. Rick's fantastic... always... A truly Great Band.
