Seems other countries are much smarter than the US. Canada eliminated their paper dollar years ago in favor of the dollar coin, the Loonie. The U.K. eliminated their paper pound in favor of the coin. Both of those countries are savings billions in not making paper currency that only lasts a few years. Coins last practically forever. We need to eliminate the penny too. What the hell can you buy with a penny today? Nothing. Round up to a nickel.

I prefer the one dollar bill but if they force me to use a coin I'd get use to it. It doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me. Pennies are a lot more annoying in my opinion.
