My Flip Mino HD is just the same - clips badly on high frequencies, mainly Hi-hat and bell cause it. I have ordered a Flip Ultra HD in the hope it will be better.

yeah that's the thing i dont like about the mino.... it's to sensitive to loud sounds... i can't record my saxophone without having to hear the clipping...

Great first video, great drumming, keep on expressing and experimenting with different angles and what not. The flip mino has great video quality and I'm sure you'll find a way to get the sound to pick up better.

Nice groove! I see what you mean about the clipping. Drums really are quite loud though. You might be interested in investing in a condenser mic, or, on a higher budget, a set of mics and a mixer! Keep the wicked beats coming!
