Murli Wanchoo joined the British Government in 1942 and was stationed in Simla when India got its freedom. For 6 months in a year the British government functioned out of Simla and that practice appears to have continued even after India become freedom. Mr. Wanchoo moved to Delhi in the mid 1950s and continued to work in the government and towards the end of his career he served as the secretary of the Press Club of India.

The interview is in English and Hindi.
