I think this is my favorite Malinowski piece. Very clever and pleasing Old World meets Wild West theme. That little modal sounding interlude at 2:11 was absolutely great.

It would be interesting if you did music from The Touhou Project series.
It really isn't classical at all, but it's still really incredible and I'm sure that it would look nice on the MAM.

Hello, Mr. Malinowski.
I'm 15 years old, have performed in Carnegie Hall previously on the piano both solo and as accompaniment, and I'm currently studying college-level Theory 1, 2, and counterpoint.
Just thought you should know that your music is an inspiration to me, and that it keeps me going in my studies. Thanks for making my goal of professional composition that much more attainable!

What the heck?! Can I play this on piano, sir?
gsarci2011 6 months ago
@gsarci2011 If you have a violinist and a 'cellist to play with you (it's a trio).

You shouldn't have given up composing. Ever thought of writing for the movies?

@MrRasputin100 There are plenty of people who want to be composers more than I do, and too few people who want to play the music of new composers. There are also a lot of people who are better composers than I am; I'm better than most people at certain things (other than composition), so I'm going to stick with what I'm good it.

Pretty sweet. I feel like you might be erring on not having enough repetition vs the copious variation. Kinda get lost in the music. Maybe the sections don't have enough tonal contrast?

Yeah, I can agree with that.
There were reasons I gave up being a composer ...
