http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/uclear-hbc-100-bluetooth-communicator The U-Clear HBC 100 Bluetooth Communicator is the first boomless bluetooth communication device. No more clunky boom microphones to speak into that take up the entirety of your chin area. Utilizing advanced technologies developed for the military, the HBC100 smartly filters out wind/motorcycle noise to deliver the highest fidelity voice audio possible. The speakers are hi-fi stereo, the install is extraordinarily simple, and the AVRCP allows pairing with multiple devices. The UClear HBC100 is simply a game-changer.

  • I've read reviews that this is a good design for 1st generation but it would be best to wait till U-Clear has ironed out the small bugs with the system. Would you agree?

  • @OogleManiac Reviews at this point seem to tip the scale in favor of riders who are extremely happy with this unit. There is a bit of negative feedback that U-Clear will hopefully fix up before the next release, but ultimately our riding community seems to be happier than not with this unit.

  • How is the fit on the Corsair V?

  • @vjenkinsdb quite snugly :-)

  • @optimizoninboise Keep the beats bumpin'!

The HBC100 has the absolute best audio quality of all the helmet communicators (read webbikeworld review). A "tinny sound" is caused by phone settings - i.e. pairing through Bluetooth HSP (headset profile) versus (A2DP) advanced audio profile. A2DP profile allows your HBC100 speakers to deliver kick ass sound, with killer bass.

  • I'm curious about the quality of the speakers. I've heard reviews of other units say that for music, the speakers sound like tinny crap. It would be awesome if these things had good frequency response range, and the music sound good.

  • @RevZillaTV hi, is there any upgrades to fix up this version? and how isit this unit compare to Sena SMH10D-01B? hope to see some comparable videos! thanks

  • Is this waterproof? I ride in the rain a lot, so weatherproofing is essential!

  • @optimizoninboise Awesome thanks man. This will probably be my next buy.
