Suhr Aldrich pickups in my Les Paul using the AxeFx Ultra. Killer backing track by my band. This is NOT Steve Perry singing it is our drummer Roy Nichol.

I run through the main solo and my recording setup at the end of the song.

  • awesome sound and lesson dude (thumbs up)

However, both fast runs are incorrect I'm afraid.

  • @perco754 Ya but how about that singer? :) When you have a singer like Roy in your band not too many people will notice mistakes in the solo :)

    Mark

  • excelent mark !!

which camera do you use? and that programs use to edit?

and use the edirol for sound?

  • @Lamaza07 I'm now using a Kodak Playtouch. I use Logic Pro 9. In this video I went from the AxeFx into the Apogee Duet into my MacBook Pro (Logic Pro 9). I also use Waves plugins.

  • @Lamaza07 I use iMovie11 to edit the video

  • Absolutely killer!! : )

  • @perco754 His playing is almost identical to the original. No guitarist, not even Neal Schon, plays solos exactly the same live as on a recording, so cut him some slack and let him have some creative license with the song bro!

  • DUDE THE SOUND!!!!!!! I LOVE THE TONE

  • i seriously thought that was steve perry, talent my brew!

  • That singer has some SERIOUS talent!!!!

  • what are the chords for this

  • yeah the drummers voice class...must have listened to either the song or journey alot..awesome

  • That drummer has some serious pipes!

  • Awesome man!

  • You def have Neal's tone! Great video! Quick question, as far as how easy it is to use, would you prefer the AxeFx II over the Ultra in terms of simplicity?
