I tested a 1680x1050 as well as a 1024x768 monitor. One was on HDMI and the other one on VGA. I might get a new external monitor so that I'd get extra resolution. Anyway, if you have questions just leave them in the comments.

Tested two 1680x1050 screens and they both worked fine.

    I don't know where the white vga cable comes from since my father gave it to me. Even with that cable I had to remove a part of the plastic to make it fit. Your best bet would be to take a standard vga cable and remove a part of the plastic as well as on the HDMI and try to make them fit.

    Yep damn acer for the poor design, I totally hear you.

  • where did you get that white vga extension cable? I'm having the problem you mentioned thath the vga and hdmi ports are too close together (dam you acer for poor design!)

  • Pretty cool. I will definitely try this out.. could watch netflix and game at the same time.
