Yes they are very noisy, however the meat is excellent. I just tried it for the first time. I had three of them raised and finally got sick of their noise and butchered them. Meat is like turkey's meat. They were also much heavier than a chicken, but meat is much, much better than a chicken's. I am thinking of getting more now that I have tasted them. Very nice and easy to raise.

We had 15 at our farm but they all had Dinosaur looking things on top of the heads. They are ugly noisy creatures, but I like em better then ticks. They would crawl on top of our house and you could hear em runnin back and fourth back and fourth at like 4 and 5 am. I still like em better then ticks.
