Portal Prelude Trailer

Official trailer of Portal: Prelude. Valve did not develop this, it's a modification of the original Portal. Note that I DID NOT make this mod. It's made by NykO18 and his team. More info here:

The original soundtrack for this trailer was Session by Linkin Park. Due to WMG's copyright laws I had to replace it with Down Slide by Ming+FS.

The game can be downloaded for FREE. The only requirement is that you own the original Portal. After installing the game will appear in your Steam Game List.

For the people interested in the music: I used audioswap to prevent copyright issues. If I try to change it again it's still listed as "Down Slide" by Ming+FS. I can't seem to find it anywhere though..

The game was not proved wrong they never said anything about caroline this game is showing them build glados so its still correct

@Minisamfizz It did prove this game wrong, however its always fun to imagine. I like to think of this game happening maybe a little later after Cave died so they could build GLaDOS and put Caroline in there. Then of course she goes crazy and stuff.

Again, only fun to imagine. Game was still fun even if its wrong though c:

@TwoIdiotsAndAPickaxe this is an addon to portal, since i don't have the game anymore i think you launch this game from inside the original portal. but im not sure anymore since it has been some time since i played it. hope this helps

I've installed this and it appears in my steam games, but when I click it, it just launches Portal. Help?

@jmons1978 Well, Portal 2 explains the early history of Aperture Science, which was run by Cave Johnson. (This is the quick version, i can't explain everything) Cave Johnson wanted to back up his intelligence on a computer in case he ever died, but he died to early due to poisoning from the gels, so they backed up Caroline's intelligence instead. That's where GLaDOS came in. There is WAY more backstory to this, but basically GLaDOS went crazy and killed all the scientists who built her.
