Erika plays "Stars" and shouts out to the Ukulele Club

Returning to teaching and remembering that I should probably act like a PhD student since I am one has taken a toll on my ukulele-time. Thankfully, I found a wonderful group of people at OSU--the Ukulele Club!--to keep me playing. I can't go to the meeting this week, so I'm playing a song in solidarity with the week's theme of musicals/Disney by singing Javert's "Stars" solo from Les Mis. The singing begins around 1:17 since I can't stop jabbering at the beginning.

Also--I threw this together really fast, so forgive the rather low quality of video/playing.

Oh man, I've been waiting 3 months for this. And I love Javert. Awesome choice for your return to YouTube. Don't be a stranger now. PhD students can still play Bruce Springsteen on the internet. It's allowed in most of today's PhD programs.

@matthewvaughan Thanks, Matthew! Sam and I have been bemoaning our lack of YouTube-ness and having to miss a meeting of the OSU ukulele club was the perfect encouragement. I'll check with my advisor about playing Bruce Springsteen and getting a PhD, just to make it official.:)
