such as the GP40X's i have them both in ho scale, 4521 is EX SP and 4523 is EX UP, and would that mean i could see some UP yellow engines rolling down keewatin sub eventually???????????
Now I see were you are confused by the power thing. CP and UP have run through power on their trains that are run through the SI Gateway. Which run from Portal ND, to Hinkle OR. And also Freights from Lethbridge Alberta, to Hinkle. With some potash trains running al UP power, usually consisting of 4 SD9043MAC's. These trains run from the Potash mines in Saskatchewan, to the docks in Portland/Seattle. All trains cross the boarder at the Kingsgate/Eastport Crossing.
And UP has already stated that they are waiting for CP to enter the Powder River, before they decide to go ahead with Mergers. This you suck as I am both A Canadian Pacific employee and a Canadian, with CP's Head office in my home town.
Not really sure where you got your info, but to clarify many things. 1st: CP has a few ex up units, with none of them being tunnel motors. 2nd: there are no SD70ACE in CP's fleet, we were testing 2 BNSF units but they were sent back before the lease period expired. And last: CP and UP do have a partnership and there have been merger rumors for years. But if a merger was to happen, unfortunately Canadian Pacific would be the railway that would disappear .
lol rly, i didnt know that, well i live in ontario and we NEVER..EVER get U.S Units up here. I dont even know where the closest U.S Line is here. i kno theres CSX in Quebec but other then that i duno lol
i know you are just trying to be informative, but alot of your information is wrong.
