CDJ cases are released back to there familys. Most case are never know because its has the same symptoms as Alzheimer, it just happens to be a faster death sentence. CDJ will also survive cremation.

I'd rather go back into the earth then be trapped in a sealed grave forever...

Thanks, Carol! I decided to do a paper on this topic and your explanations were helpful. :) All the Best!

plus, when u do a natural burial, people can become fossil fuels in the future

i have always felt as you do... we are made up of molecules and creatures from the earth from the beginning of time and for us to deprive the earth of the return of those elements is wrong..... but i do not know if they allow natural burials in my state

Completely agree!! I defiantly want a natural burial :)
Aside from a case of mad cow disease (CDJ), (In which a loved one would not be released to a family anyway), universal precautions are all that is necessary.
We do appreciate your concerns, and plan to add more information/videos about protection in the near future.

Home Funeral and Green Burial does not mean we forego PPE (personal protective equipment) and universal precautions. You’re right, Home Funeral/Green Burial advocates have not been discussing basic protection that goes with treating a body whether embalmed or not. That said, in a home hospice or palliative care scenario, we know what the person has died of, and in the vast majority of cases there is not a serious health risk. (or they would not be home to begin with)
