The Green Eggs and Spam fans, some of whom followed the band from concert to concert for years, are known as SPAMheads and have been renowned for their dedication to the band's music. Many fans referred to the band simply as "the SPAM". As of 2008, the band members who had been touring under the name "The Jammin' Amish" changed their official group name to "Vowel Movement". SPAMheads continue to use the nickname to refer to all versions of the band.
Some cover versions by Green Eggs and SPAM: "I Get Around" , "Beer Barrel Polka" "We're Just Two Lost Souls In Hoodbridge" and a rousing rendition of Chicagos "Twenty-five or six to four" Get tickets and see them (if you can) playing in a Middleschool Gym nearby !!!!
