Thank God someone knows where the best scene in this movie starts!! Everyone else starts at the court scene with him putting on the new suit. If they only knew it starts here and crescendos to that scene

The actual movie in the theatre was even better than this DVD version. They cut out a lot of detail on the ending as well as the part when he was taking the test to become a diver. The uncut version in the theatre showed blood coming out where his knee was as well as having a few drops of blood falling on the floor. Nevertheless, the DVD version is GREAT. One of my favorite movies.

the funny thing is the captain in the movie is from the same era as chief brushier so it's weird how brushier upholds the traditions while the captain is such a modernist asshole. ???

funny...they have marines guarding the courtroom outside, not sailors

It's always a good idea, when you've several old men sat either side of you, to piss all over the traditions and customs they upheld most of their lives.
