I thought it had a/c? Either way it was a daily driven car and had full interior and was 100% streetable. A dart 331 turbo can be made to do crazy things. Mike Murillo is a beast, haven't heard much from the car since he sold it.

@hurley242584 I'm sorry, but you're wrong. The car regularly logged trips of 60 miles or more. Not only that, but it ran as fast as 8.6 in the quarter mile after being driven to the track.

Nice vid. I really do enjoy both cars for what they are, but the "cost" argument is one of the douchiest ways of proving one's idiocy. Sure you can build a lawn mower to be a rocket but it's still a piece of shit. How about a high speed crash test comparison? Or maybe having an 11 sec car tearing it up in the snow/rain while a Fox sits there like a bitch? You get what you pay for-quality. Each car has its benefits, but don't be an asshole with the typical "my car is half the cost of yours" shit.

It was just a video, done in the style of an old MasterCard "Priceless" commercial. The Subaru owner got a laugh out of being eaten alive when he and his brother went to the track to tear up some V8s, and wound up being the meal instead. I got the raw video from him after we met, raced and he won.

One more thing: lighten up a bit with the insults; they are the MOST "douchy" way of proving one's idiocy. Enjoy the rest of your day. ;-)

@FoxBodyMike1 I never said anything about racing in my post, only cost. But yes, the new 5.0 is exceptional, it most closely resembles the E9x M3 moreso than any other car out there in every category at nearly half the cost. I can walk the new 5.0 with my mods but I still actually almost sold my STi for one. The new 5.0 has regained my respect for Ford, definitely the best of the big 3 domestics (5.0, LS3, SRT8). But again, this topic has nothing to do with the new GT. See, not biased. :)
