  • (Q) what happened to that 76% opposition to health care reform that FOX NEWS was reporting just 48 hours ago ???

GALLUP poll today shows only 40% opposition to health care reform.

  • @wetweasel56 Care to link me to this? It's not that I don;t believe you, I just donl;t believe anything the GOP says. Why didn;t they do it during the 8 years bush was there while health care costs were rising so much?

  • It baffles me why anyone would take this egotistical moron Frum who is on the payroll of the Zionist lobby and who has been caught out & proven as a deliberate LIAR to the American people seriously. His LIE that "Iraq has nukes" led to the murder of over 1,000,000 people and countless billions of US taxpayer money.

AND PEOPLE TAKE THIS GUYS WORD SERIOUSLY?! He is about as trust-worthy as all Zionist scum-bags whose sole purpose is to draw America into more wars for ISRAEL.

  • @172677 reasontv - which can be viewed on YouTube - just released a video addressing this issue.

The health-care issue, was divided into different bills. There is a separate bill, that will increase the amount doctors are reimbursed through Medicare payments. (So, if it was a myth, once again the gov. is not dealing with reality).

But, this bill will avoid the situation I saw coming: where doctors would be under reimbursed through Medicare/caid, and through the insurance reform.

  • Saw Mr. Frum recently when he appeared with Sam Tanenhaus and Richard Brookhiser at UNLV.

Was a good talk, and speaking as a lefty, Frum was refreshingly honest.

  • @bigpurple121: Hey big purp, every take an econ class? Do you know what investment is?

"Oh I don't understand how a business can SPEND money to SAVE money! It makes no sense!"

Let's do an example for you. You spend money to upgrade your machines at a factory. Yes that cost money. But over the next 3 years, your company works more efficienty. It cost less money and takes less time to make your product. After 10 years, you made more money than you would have.

    Investment. Look it up.

  • @BigPurple121 You've missed something else here...this isn't a debate. A debate rquires TWO intelligent, well-versed people who know ALL the facts, have studied ALL sides of an issue and has come to a thoughtful, well-educated decision. That isn't found on youtube....this is a place to spend a few hours riling up the morons and having a few laughs.

  • @172677

I love debating people who dont actually challenge any of the premises or logic steps of an argument. Ill assume you either agree, dont know enough about the subject, or are dumbfounded by my assertions.

  • @TheBasicFreedom Well, see Medicare, Veterans Healthcare and the Federal health care that covers ALL Federal employees around the world including Senators, members of Congress, the President and all ex-Presidents. ALL govt run, All successful. As a Medicare recipient, I've never met a doctor who complained about not being paid. That's a myth.

  • @TheBasicFreedom..Here's what I know: Car insurance is mandatory, taxes are mandatory, it is mandatory that children attend school - even if it's "home schooled". We on Medicare are mandated to buy the Advantage programs with prescription drug coverage...even if we don't need it. If we refuse and want to get it later, we pay a fine...... On the other hand, Medicare is great coverage - and is "govt run".

  • @BigPurple121 You missed the meaning of what I said. It's scary that someone who hypes himself as an "economist" would try to pass himself off as better and smarter than some of the best economic minds in our country...and the world. Sorry bub, your creds don't count much in the grand scheme of things.
